Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions introduces the new temperature programmable Secondary Oven, which expands the capabilities of the Agilent 8890 GC. With this solution, laboratories can perform multiple GC analyses simultaneously without the need to invest in an additional GC system and software license.
The Secondary Oven is fully integrated into the workflow of the Agilent 8890 GC and is controlled directly from the GC system. The temperature of the Secondary Oven can be programmed completely independently, allowing the primary GC oven and the Secondary Oven to run two different temperature programs simultaneously.
The analytical results from both the primary GC and the Secondary Oven are automatically merged into a single data file. This simplifies reporting and makes data processing more efficient.
The Secondary Oven is a fully functional GC oven with versatile configuration possibilities. The system can be connected to the Agilent 8890 GC via a transfer line, but it can also be equipped with its injector and/or detector. In that case, no additional transfer lines are required.
By combining the Agilent 8890 GC with the new Da Vinci LS Secondary Oven, laboratories can double GC capacity, increase throughput, and create more flexible configurations without investing in an additional GC system and software license.
