The defining feature of the X-Clear Tubes is their superior optical clarity, thanks to the use of Polymethylpentene (PMP). This high-transparency material significantly improves light transmittance, enabling researchers to clearly view samples for more accurate monitoring, analysis, and handling, no matter how routine or critical the application.
Built to perform in the most challenging lab environments, the X-Clear Tubes offer exceptional temperature resistance from -80 °C to +210 °C, with the ability to handle intermittent exposure up to 234 °C. Designed for repeated autoclaving and free from RNase, DNase, and pyrogens, these tubes uphold the highest standards of sample integrity and sterility.
Their externally threaded design also helps prevent contamination by keeping the sample thread-free and untouched, making them ideal for sensitive workflows.
Available in 0.75ml and 1.40ml volumes with a V-bottom inner shape, the X-Clear Tubes are optimized for effective sample recovery. Designed to integrate smoothly into automated lab systems, they support high-throughput workflows without compromising traceability or sample protection.
Optional laser-etched 2D Data-Matrix codes and human-readable identifiers enable robust sample tracking, while secure screw caps in multiple colors help streamline sample organization.
Produced in Class 7 cleanroom environments, the X-Clear Tubes meet the highest standards of cleanliness and consistency. They are chemically resistant and fully compatible with Micronic’s 96-well format racks, offering seamless integration into existing storage and processing systems.
