Slovenia is known as one of the most biodiverse countries in Europe. It is the third most forested country on the continent and stretches from 2,000-meter-high Alpine peaks to the Adriatic coast. The Pannonian Plain is rich in thermal springs, and the Karst region is known for its impressive subterranean landscape. Slovenia perfectly illustrates how plants can adapt to diverse (micro)climate conditions.
Recently, Phenovation was present at the University of Ljubljana’s Faculty of Biotechnology for the installation of a PlantExplorer MAX Eden system—an advanced phenotyping solution developed by our innovative partner PhenoVation.
The system is fully integrated into a climate chamber developed by Bronson Climate, combining precise climate control with high-quality image analysis. This combination provides researchers with a powerful, real-time tool for monitoring plant health. It is the all-in-one solution for measuring plant stress, accurate photosynthesis analysis, and advanced multispectral and color measurements.
We are proud of this collaboration and look forward to working with PhenoVation to discover what new insights this system will deliver in the coming years.
