A Revolutionary Approach to Light Scattering Technology
The new LenS3 MALS Detector integrates the best of both Multi-Angle and Low-Angle Light Scattering (MALS and LALS) concepts to create a new paradigm in light scattering detection. A novel, elongated flow path geometry maximizes scattered light collection, to increase the detector’s response, while the non-refractive material of the chamber eliminates noise from stray light. The advanced optical design also provides exceptional signal-to-noise at the crucial extreme angles for molecular weight and size measurements. This results in a direct and accurate measurement of molecular weight for biomolecules, synthetic polymers, oligomers and low dn/dc samples.
