The development of new, highly efficient battery materials requires in-depth understanding of materials stability and reversibility upon charge discharge cycling. Materials stability at high charging voltages is largely governed by the underlying crystalline phase. XRD is a widely used analytical technique to investigate crystalline phases, crystallite size and crystalline disorders, which play an important role in the development of high-quality battery materials.
